WELCOME TO THE PROGRESSIVE SOLIDARITY FORUM (PSF)

APC CHAIRMANSHIP RACE: PSF ENDORSES CHIEF IBRAHIM EMOKPAIRE

With the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Congresses and national Convention fast approaching and several gladiators flexing their muscles as regards the position of the National Chairmanship of the ruling party, a group, Progressive Solidarity Forum (PSF) as thrown its weight behind the former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) United Kingdom chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Emokpaire for the exalted position. The group described Dr. Emokpaire as a “through-bred, disciplined, and meticulous politician whose wealth of experience in the public and private sectors are just too glaring to be ignored.” The group made this known in a statement signed by the group’s National Deputy Director for Media, Publicity and Information, Mr Olalekan Adigun in Lagos today.

Mr. Adigun recalled that while the Edo-born grass root politician was serving as the Chairman of the CAN in the UK, he displayed an unusual devotion to duty, loyalty, and excellence towards the building of the party despite the availability of lean resources. The statement also notes that his sense of thoroughness “ensure that APC garnered much support at infancy, especially in the UK and in Edo state where he hails from.’’

Dr. Emokpaire also wishes to thank all those who have supported the party since its formation four years ago. “We wish specifically to thank President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Bisi Akande, founding chairman of our party;Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, national leader of our great party; Chief Odigie Oyegun, the outgoing chairman of our great party and other leaders who have helped build the party.”

The statement further added “Dr. Emokpaire is someone that is tested and trusted. If he’s elected to lead a party like the APC, he will bring his global wealth of managerial and political experience especially in the areas of conflict management and resolutions which our great party needs at this critical point going into the 2019 elections.”

Signed:
Olalekan Adigun
National Deputy Director for Media, Publicity, and Information.
